Pencils:
The key is to have a variety of pencil weights, from light to dark. Any brand will work, I do prefer Grafwood (Caran d’ Ache) or Derwent. I recommend bringing:

• H
• 2B
• 4B
• 6B
• 7B
• 8B
• 9B

• Utility knife
• Sandpaper block
• Kneaded eraser
• Large art stumps an/ or chamois cloth
• Sketchbook / small loose paper to work on
• Clips for attaching paper to drawing board

Paper:
If you have a type of paper you prefer to use please bring it! I will also bring a few types of paper to discuss in class. I recommend 2 pieces of smooth drawing paper, white/ cream, medium in size ( around 12/16/18 inches ).
