15-pound weight tar-paper for making project templates (recommended) or other heavy cardstock or cardboard.

Inexpensive “chip” brushes for texturing slip and working seams

Recommended: hand-building works better with clays containing some grog, such as Fireclay Stoneware or Raku Clay, or Paper Clay

Bas-Relief Tiles class materials list:

Drawings (line work) and/or images sized for 8 x 8 tiles

Narrow-blade snap-off utility knife

A section or two of newspaper (if you have it)
