- Sakura Pigma Micron Black Waterproof Pen, 02 or 03 (or similar brand)
- Inexpensive Watercolor Set (8 colors is plenty) with brush and mixing area in lid (or plate for mixing paint on). Or whatever watercolor supplies you already have
- Cup for water
