Minnetonka Center for the Arts’ annual abstract art exhibition is open through May 9 in the center’s Laura H. Miles Gallery. According to the arts center, the exhibition highlights the vitality and scope of this genre, which releases the artist from having to achieve a subject’s likeness. There will be a curators’ talk and tour 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27. Visit minnetonkaarts.org for more information and to sign up for the talk. (Sun Sailor staff photo by Jason Jenkins)
