STANDING OUT IN A JURIED SHOW

Robert Bowman
Skill level: ALL

What works in a juried show and why? Join Exhibits Director Bob Bowman for a group discussion on selecting and submitting work for shows. He’ll share insights gleaned from years of watching jurors select artworks, as well as his own curating experiences. We’ll tour the Members’ Juried Show and discuss how different pieces function in the context of an exhibit. Please note: we will not be critiquing individual work in the Members Show; we will use the show as a departure point for our discussion. It is recommended to have viewed the show independently before the class date.
