Birthday Parties
For ages 5 to 12*
Saturdays 10:30 am-12:30 pm or 1:30-3:30 pm
This year throw a memorable, creative party featuring a 75-minute, hands-on art-making experience followed by 45 minutes for cake, refreshments, and presents. Each child creates and takes home a one-of-a-kind work of art and happy, creative memories. There are many popular themes available. We’ll work with you on the party theme and specific activities for your special group.

The Art Center Provides

- Supervision for the first 75 minutes
You Provide
- Kids dressed for a mess
- Party refreshments, cake, decorations, presents
- Supervision for the last 45 minutes of the party
Party Fees
- 1 – 10 Participants: $250 Members / $275 Non-members
- 11 – 20 Participants: $25 per person
- Extra charge for parties longer than 2 hours or larger than 20 participants.
- Full payment due when the party is booked. Note: This is not a peanut-free facility

Birthday Party Themes
Ages 5-7
Marvelous Masks and Magical Hats!
Come create a birthday disguise! This birthday fun includes making a hat and mask with glitter, markers, paper, feathers, and other wacky mediums. Parents won’t know who’s masquerading under this creative camouflage!
Unicorns! Dragons! Fantastic Creatures!
If you love unicorns, then this is the party for you! Unicorns are magical beings loved for their innocence and magical powers. Come make a painting using all the colors of the rainbow. Imagine the fun everyone will have with these beautiful fantastic creations!
Many Ways to Paint!
There are many fun and interesting ways to paint. For this birthday project, you will paint with string, tissue paper, coffee filters, soap, straws, sponges and your fingers. The sky is the limit with your creativity and these interesting materials!
Cool Cats & Crazy Critters!
Let’s look at paintings and illustrations of some familiar animals. Warm and cool color schemes light the way. Using these images as inspiration, we will then draw, paint, and collage our own favorite cats, dogs, and other pet portraits.
Underwater World!
Do you like sea creatures and plant life? This birthday treat includes creating your own underwater world using painting, drawing and collage materials. You can also make your own artistic aquarium!
Ages 8-9
Masters of the Art Universe!
Come learn about and create like a Master. Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keefe, Georges Seurat, Yayoi Kusama, or Isamu Noguchi are just a few of the choices. Let us help you pick an artist or art movement for guests to learn about by making their own artwork. Painting or modest sculptural projects can be modified for your child’s Birthday Party. Everyone will have a mini masterpiece of their own to take home.
Toons and Tales!
Would it be fun to create your own comic characters? Make birthday memories and learn how to make comics and comic characters. You and your guests can draw from favorite characters or create your own. You will have making a cartoon story book you designed yourself!
Party with Paint!
If you love color and the happy mess of painting, celebrate your birthday with your choice of watercolor, or acrylic paints, learning real art techniques to build your artistic skills. Everyone takes home a masterpiece.
Mini-Minecraft
Step away from screens to tabletop creations! Party goers will build their own mini worlds using mixed media materials. With paper cubes, you choose a landscape and dig into your own hands-on game world. From cities, deserts, oceans, woods or jungles each guest chooses the environment to build a take home habitat during this engaging art activity. This is a 3D party that is fun for all!
Fashion Jewelry Making! (Available for Ages 10-12, too!)
Bracelets, rings or earrings will be made during this birthday bash! Using an assortment of beads, wire, and findings, you will create your own beautiful jewelry. You and your friends will have a blast designing one of a kind accessories. The only requirement is that you bring your fashion sense and creativity.
Origami Fest!
You can make almost anything by folding paper, taking 2 dimensions into 3. The fun is using a variety of colorful, decorative papers, and learning the steps to make simple or complex subjects such as boats, cranes, butterflies, geometric shapes or a host of animals, birds and hopping frogs. You can even make jewelry, towers or faces. This party celebrates all the joyful things Origami has to offer!
Ages 10-12
Art Big and Bold!
Large scale art is impressive! Taking a look at some of the big paintings by Diego Rivera, Jackson Pollock, Banksy, Lady Pink, Amy Sherald, and others, this party celebrates in a big way. Each guest will have big brushes and big paper to make a big painting to take home. Fun is the subject as guests explore the expressive side of acrylic painting in living color.
Comic Cartooning Crack-up!
Spend your birthday making cartoon characters and comics. Samples from well loved comics will fuel your imagination, while you create your own comic strips. You can help choose your favorites or draw from our playlist.
Painting Peacescapes!
This party uses watercolors and oil pastels to create calming, serene landscape scenes. Painting techniques create textures that make each painting unique. This engaging painting style builds positive moods, and creates lasting gifts from the birthday person!
Printmaking Pizzazz!
Spend your party making prints from our collection of gyotaku fish, handmade stampers, or homemade textured plates. Create your own designs with multi colored paints and patterns on paper. You and your guests can combine printmaking with painting to make an original work of art.
Fashion Jewelry Making!
