Call for Entries – Menagerie: Animals in Art

Representational or abstract, two-dimensional or sculptural, animal-themed and animal-inspired works in a variety of media are sought for this exhibit featuring different approaches to the use of animals in art, either as subject or as inspiration. Fine art and fine craft artists working in all media except performance and video are invited to submit works for consideration
Open to artists in MN, ND, SD, IA, NE and WI
All exhibited work must be for sale. Include MCFTA’s sales commission in your pricing: 40% on sales of work by MCFTA members, 50% on sales of work by non-members
To apply, submit 4 to 10 images with an image list specifying size, medium/process information, and retail price. Applicants are encouraged to submit a cohesive body of work, and to submit the full 10 images, as the preference is to show 3 to 5 works per selected artist rather than single pieces. Works previously shown at MCFTA are not eligible. For two-dimensional works, include information on framing, if applicable
Include a brief statement and bio or cv. Include email address for notification
