Following his successful commercial design practice, Don Biehn dedicated himself to painting full time until his death in June 2022. He embraced plein air painting, immersing himself in his subjects’ colors, textures, and light. He lived most of his life near rivers, lakes and marshlands, capturing their allure in his art.
