Phases of Matter features works by Bernie Ficek-Swenson, Linda Gammell, Ann Ginsburgh Hofkin, Danny Saathoff, and Holly Swift.
Contemporary interpretations by five artists consider natural phenomena and ideas of transformation. The four classical elements of earth, water, air, fire are represented by two and three-dimensional artworks that explore the physical world with unique use of materials and insights. Viewers are invited to interpret and respond to these works, resonant with spiritual contemplation as well as current environmental issues.
