  • One full sheet of Watercolor 300# Hot Press Paper (Arches or Artistico Fabriano)
  • Professional Watercolor Paints. Not student grade. 
    • Winsor Newton, Utrech, Daniel Smith, etc.
    • Colors: 
      • Warm red (Scarlet Lake or Cadmium Red)
      • Cool Red (Quinochrodine Rose/Pink or Permanent Alizarin Crimson)
      • Warm Blue (Creulean Blue or French Ultramarine)
      • Cool Blue (Colbalt)
      • Warm Yellow (Aureolin or Cadmium Yellow)
      • Cool Yellow (Lemon or Hansa)
      • Purple (Ultramarine Violet)
      • Feel free to bring other colors you may have as well.
  • Brushes
    • Raphael 8404 #2 or #3 or Kalinski Sable #2 or #3 or Winsor Newton Series 7 #2 or #3
  • Paper towels
  • Tracing paper
  • Graphite Pencils – 2H, HB, 2B
  • Pencil Sharpener
  • Erasers – grey kneaded, white plastic
  • 15-inch metal ruler
  • Magnifying Glass
  • Artists low tack tape
  • Porcelain watercolor palettes for mixing colors or a porcelain plate
  • Two clean cottage cheese type containers for water
  • Sturdy Masonite board or Plexiglas to use as a painting surface. Appx. 18″ x 24″
  • Sketch pad
  • Portable light if you have one
