- 2 Graphite pencils (H or HB)
- Plastic Eraser
- 18-24″ ruler
- Graphite transfer paper
- 4 or 5 sheets of Layout bond paper (18″x 24″) or a roll
- Acrylic Paints (Liquitex Heavy Body, Utrecht, or Golden) in a single pigment:
- Titanium White (PW6)
- Phthalo Blue (PB15)
- Quinacridone Red (PV19)
- Azo Yellow Orange (PY83)
- Burnt Umber (PBr7)
- Brushes:
- #24 Flat (width 31/32″) for block-ins
- #4 Bright (width 5/32″) for rendering
- #0 Round (width 1/32″) for fine details
- Tempered Masonite – approx. size 18″ x 24″
- 60 grit sandpaper
- Additionally, students will need a paper plate (palette), cup or glass jar for water, and paper towels
