INTAKE: Thursday, February 5, Noon – 7 p.m.
(Intake times are FIRM. No early entry. If you cannot make the date work, have someone enter your work for you)

OPENING RECEPTION: Thursday, February 12, 6 – 8 p.m.

PURPOSE: To celebrate the varied interests and artistic achievements of MCFTA members by providing opportunity to exhibit their work

ELIGIBILITY:

  • All current MCFTA members (through March 20, 2026) are invited to submit original works
  • Membership may be initiated or renewed when delivering your entry
  • All submitted work must be for sale – no NFS pieces will be exhibited

WHAT TO ENTER:

  • All mediums 2D & 3D (except video and installation art) are eligible
  • Each member may enter one or two pieces
  • Works must be original and completed within the past two years
  • Work done under instruction must be executed solely by the student
  • Kits are not allowed
  • Work shown at previous MCFTA shows will not be accepted

ENTRY FEE: $20 per piece

PROCESS:

  • Verify with the registrar that your membership is current through March 21, 2026
  • Pay your entry fee (1 or 2 pieces) at the front desk using Visa or Mastercard 
  • Deliver your work to the gallery 
  • Fill out an exhibit agreement and label your work with tags

PAPERWORK – You may complete the exhibit agreement and tag your work in advance to speed up the entry process. Tags will also be available in the gallery on intake day:

  • Fill out a tag completely for each entry
  • Attach one end of the tag to the wire or front of two-dimensional work
  • Attach one end of the tag prominently to three-dimensional work using tape or string; do not hide the tag (this show is not juried)

SALES:

  • All submitted work must be for sale. No NFS pieces will be exhibited
  • The Art Center will retain a 40 percent commission on sales 

PRESENTATION – All works must be delivered ready to display:

  • 2-D work must be dry, framed or gallery-wrapped/finished edges and wired for hanging
  • No saw-tooth hangers accepted
  • 3-D work must be structurally sound
  • Acetate or shrink-wrapped work will not be accepted
  • Work must be labeled clearly with tag
  • Props (flowers, plants, etc) will not be exhibited

LIABILITY: Works in the show will be insured from time of receipt through 1 p.m. on March 21

DELIVERY: Thursday, Feb 5, Noon – 7 p.m. (FIRM)

PICK UP: Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Delivery and pick-up of exhibited work is each artist’s responsibility. Packing materials must be removed from the Art Center by the artist at the time of delivery. MCFTA is not responsible for loss or damage to artwork not picked up during pick-up times
